In general, we accept proposals for the Spring semester late September-early November and for the Fall term, proposals are submitted late February-early April. OLLI welcomes proposals for courses, OLLI Talks, and walking tours from volunteers who would like to share their knowledge and passion for various topics and places. Walking tours consist of a well-researched tour of a neighborhood or location in and around Boston and the south shore.
OLLI Talks are one-time presentations or workshops held usually around the lunch hour. Most of our courses are 5-6 weeks, meeting once per week for 1.5 hours. OLLI's classroom offerings are largely composed of courses, OLLI Talks, and walking tours and can be facilitated in-person or online via Zoom. We have already selected partners for the first of these two programs, Men, Women, and the New Old Age, but should we win this new grant, we will be looking for some additional partners in the fall of 2007. This second part of the New Cinema and Literature of Age is entitled Men, Women, and Relationships, and will consist of two, closely related one year programs to run in the spring of 20.
